Devil Girl

I've actually had this done for a while, except for a background... and today I decided I was done sitting on it, so I BS'd a background and here it is.

This was kind of an experiment... I was playing with different methods of generating lineart, and the one I chose for this one was using the Pen Tool in Photoshop and drawing each line with the mouse.

Well, it took fucking forever and I'm NOT doing that again.

However, despite how long and tedious it was, I got REALLY nice, clean lineart out of it. The other experiment was playing with cel shading, which I've never done before. The shadows look off in plenty of places here, but I think I did really well considering that, from the moment I put pencil to paper to the moment I finished adding shadows and highlights, I used no reference whatsoever (as per my usual MO).

See, the origin of this image is like the origin of many others like it: sexual frustration. If I gear my energies toward drawing something really sexy, I get to sate my libido's fantasy as well as turning that mojo to constructive use. So here it is, my mojo at work.

And I have QUITE a bit of mojo.
